Amazon order delayed at customs

This has never happened to me before. Has anyone got a similar experience? What did you do? Did your order arrive?

International mail is really strict these days. I know someone who had an order of seeds destroyed, so it depends on the goods.

@BonnyEm do you think it might be a scam?

Standard customs stuff. Suspect you'll be charged import taxes. Moral of the story - don't buy from China. It doesn't work out cheaper!

I had customs charges on something I ordered over Amazon and Amazon made the seller refund them to me. This was about a year ago so may have changed, but I recommend contacting them if you're charged. I wouldn't have known (I've had to pay customs charges before buying elsewhere) but I happened to see a post about it somewhere – apparently Amazon guarantees you won't pay more than the figure it gives you at checkout.

I'd up amazon and ask for a refund. As you're not prepared to pay extra.

I'd definitely get a refund and order one that has UK stock, especially if you want to get it in time for Christmas. If you talk to Amazon on live chat they'll help you out with the refund.
