What are your 8 year olds getting as their main present this year?!

I have her FC gift sorted (sylvanian family house) but need an idea for her main present off us. I have a couple of wrap ups but it just doesn't look like much at all.

She's into Harry Potter, Roblox and Unicorns but we've pretty much exhausted everything related to those. not helped by the fact she has a September birthday.

We did this for her birthday in September, was absolutely amazing If anyone else is debating it

I've got my 8 year old DD a kids kindle (in the Amazon black friday sale).

We considered getting our 8 yr olds their own Switch. What my daughter really wants is a phone or a puppy (not getting either of those!). We settled on a good camera (she wants to make videos) and her twin brother is getting a drone.

Also a switch.
She wanted roller skates, two wheeled scooter and a skate board which she won't be getting!

My 9yo DD is getting kids versions of Alexa and kindle

8yo DD with a September birthday here too, been hard to think what to get her tbh especially as she has an older sister (only 18 months gap) so inherits a lot!
We ended deciding on a kids kindle as she is book mad and I can’t store many more books!

Mine is getting a hair styling head and tripod from us. And a huge super colossal blue velociraptor from father Christmas! (She loves dolls, fashion and dinosaurs!)

Roblox have playsets available we saw them in the smyths catalogue.

The Harry potter barbie sized dolls are lovely. Or if you wanted similar size to the sylvannians funko pop mini figures are around the same size. My dd used to play with hers and display them when not being used.

I made harry potter loving dd1 newts case of fantastic beasts one year, I bought an old style suitcase and filled with a wand, plush nifflers, chocolate coins, fake treasure, a dragon egg, bowtruckle figure, fancy notebook and house pen. Also a bowtie/suit and hufflepuff scarf so she could dress up. She loved it! Could also do weasley box of tricks filled with pranks. Or a honeydukes sweet box, lots of ideas on pinterest and printables for regular sweets. You can buy some in M&S too and you can order butterbeer online.

My 8yo is getting a Switch as a main gift. Some other bigger items are an oodie, hp lego (attack on the burrow), and a ticket for the Strictly live show.

My elder dd got a hoverkart at 8 which went down well.

Yes absolutely! But we do one main present off Santa and this is it, she's been asking for SF for a couple of years so having this off Santa will be a big deal to her and will definitely keep the magic alive.
