is mistletoe poisonous??

merrily bought some this morning thinking it would make dh chuckle (and kiss me!) when he comes home.. hung it up then remembered something from the back of my memory about mistletoe being poisonous.. is it just the berries or the whole thing?! was just thinking that if it fell down or the berries dropped off and ds ate them it might be bad news. Any ideas? ta!

Did a quick google and came up with American Mistletoe is much less poisonous then European Mistletoe, but little ones are much more affected by the toxicity than adults are. And it looks like the whole plant is toxic, berries and all.
