Fill Your Own Crackers... with what?!

In a pique of plastic tat hatred I've gone and bought fill your own crackers for the adults.

Now realising maybe over ambitious? Is it only chocolates and booze minis or has anyone else had good ideas?

Some of the women would definitely like a nail/lip thing (Might buy some Charlotte Tilbury Mini Lipsticks), but I'm not sure on the men/non-make up fans...

I'm doing this for the first time for a mix of adults and children. I plan to use:

Lego figures
Hot wheels cars
Mini makeup
Sparkly nail varnish
Mini bottles of booze
Lindt balls and reindeers

I got them from John Lewis. Come with joke and hat included.

Good ideas here. Think I’m going to need to measure the crackers to work it out.

Definitely getting scratch cards. Genius.

What are hot chocolate sticks?

Where did you find the cracker kits? I haven't seen any fill your own ones this year.

I got my in M&S

@TheMissingMango Little Crafty Bugs have lots of different kits, including larger size crackers which I’ve ordered to make finding fillers easier.

I've been testing a few things round the house today and have come up with some good ideas if anyone else interested?

Unsurprisingly, most of these are specific to things my family would like

Smallish bottles of Hot Sauce/Flavoured Oils
Smallish jars of preserves
Small Monin Syrup
Rolled Velvetiser/Hot Chocolate Sachets
Aesop Hand Sanitizer
Hand Cream
Earphones/Buds
Sharpies
Cashmere Socks - Rolled a bit weirdly but in plastic as not sure if a fire hazard with the banger
Silk Hairbands/Slides/Hair Clips
Gua Sha or Jade Roller
Smallish Candle/Votive
Penknife

I'm putting crystals in mine. Rose Quartz, Hematite and the like. To be fair I do sell them online and have a kilos of the stuff lying around after the advent calendar insanity last month. Or cheap fossils like shark teeth and shells might work for primary school aged children and geology-fans.

Hmmm, might go write an Etsy listing offering a set for this.

I can’t sleep tonight so am coming back to update on my cracker fillings! I now have:

Miniature gin and whisky bottles
Lindt chocolate balls

Oh, how annoying - my message was cut off. I have a long list of things that I can’t be bothered to re-type! And the upshot is that my family spent last year apart and I’m really looking forward to my OTT crackers as part of our get together this year. I’ve yet to spend Christmas with my little niece who is nearly two and have filled her cracker with some Peppa Pig bits that she will just love Smile
