Your Christmas charity recommendations

I'd love to hear about charities you are thinking of supporting this year if you do a Christmas effort on that front. Time, money, donations of any kind - just wondered who has your thoughts at this time and why.

I donate to Crisis Skylight in memory of my late husband because he had better support from them than any other organisation.

Salvation Army usually have a band in town over Christmas so we give them some cash.
We donate to a local food bank and animal sanctuary who have trolleys out in our local supermarket, we put a couple of toys in the gift trolley and we donate to a local cancer charity who cared for a couple of relatives.

Crisis who provide hot meals, showers, medical treatment and counselling to the homeless and work with them to get them into accommodation and employment. similarly The Salvation Army. during the year I support Aspire which is a charity supporting those with spinal injuries.

This year I've done a big shop for the Community larder. Food, toiletries and some gifts.
