Christmas e-cards

This year, instead of writing normal cards to all of her little friends, DD (8) has decided she would like to make and send an e-card. I am keen to encourage this as I want to avoid all the wasted paper/card that she basically never looks twice at.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to a particular site that is good? I've looked about on-line and find the choice quite bewildering.

I am happy to pay a reasonable amount but some sites seem to insist on an annual subscription, or quite expensive one-off costs (the site DD had built her test card on wanted approx £1/card so we we are sending to about 40 friends the cost builds up)!

Any suggestions would be great, thank you!

As in something like moonpig? That'll get expensive quickly. Can she design something either digitally or draw something and scan and just email it?

sign up for a free account with design service Canva, design one, save as PDF and email it around :)

I don't even open these when I get sent them Blush I didn't realise people actually paid for them.

I typically wouldn't either but DD's school gives them all their own email addresses and they love to get notes from each other on line, so I actually think they would value them more than paper cards

The Quentin Blake website has a great choice of e-cards for free.

I've just looked at it...they don't have Christmas cards on there! They did last year. Maybe they'll be added in the next few days?
