Slow Cooker Qu

Hi All,

I am hoping someone can recommend a good slow cooker for me to give my DSIS & her DP as their Christmas gift - as requested by her;-) Her DP is an excellent cook so I need to look at getting something slightly higher spec'd than a "basic" model. Any recommendations please? I'm looking for 5+ liter capacity with a timer function. Its just the 2 of them, no DC, but they do quite a bit of cooking. I've been looking at this one but not sure if its a bit OTT

I gave away to charity the one linked. It's low is too hot, it's design is cheap and the lid Ill fitting. I have Crockpot DuraCeramic Digital Saute Slow Cooker now which gets bad reviews for the lining "chipping" but frankly any one who is a keen cook wouldn't use any metal on non stick- I use wood or silicone spatulas and haven't had any issues

I have an instant pot, which is great. Both a slow cooker and pressure cooker. They might still be on offer somewhere.
