Karaoke Machine... Help!

DD (10) has asked for a karaoke machine. I'm completely clueless about these... are they still a thing? I assume they don't come with a CD anymore like they did in the 90's?!

Can anyone recommend one... would I need an app or a subscription for the songs? I have no idea how they work thesedays and would be grateful for any advice.

We have this one www.luckyvoicekaraoke.com/karaoke-kit/ which is very simple to use. You have to subscribe to access the songs so don’t forget to add that when thinking about the cost.
