Really need some suggestions for some gifts that would be suitable, already has lots of Lego Technic but any suggestions gratefully received as I'm stumped!

I don't particularly want presents to do with my job... my list includes a One Hundred Stars kimono, bubble bath, West Yorkshire Spinners socks, nice wooden hangers.

James Dyson biography
Scale ruler

My DH is an engineer. I don't buy him work related stuff as a main present but for stocking fillers I've bought him jokey things like engineer mugs or t shirts and this year I've got him a book with photos of lots of things taken apart (sounds naff but it's quite artistic ) as it is a family joke that he can take anything apart and even sometimes puts it back together again!
The website Present Indicative is quite good for science and engineering related gifts.

DD is an electronics engineer who likes Star Trek so of course one year we had to get her a T-Shirt
'Resistance is not futile, it's V/I'

She likes fun mathsy books e.g Humble Pi.

Thanks for the help - the present is for my DS, I don't expect him to take things to work - but something amusing or suitable for the technically minded would be great

Dd had one of those when she was at school, but from the mention of work I take it the OPs DS is a grownup qualified engineer. Tbh I think this type of kit could be a bit like giving a chef a cake mix.Grin

I'm looking for inspiration for her too for small fun things, for DD and her BF who is a different type of engineer.

I'd buy him something not related to his job.
