Lego dots sets

Hi all
Just doing some Xmas shopping on
Line. What age would you say the Lego dots sets are for- my DD is 7 yrs old. Is she too old for that now?

Definitely not too old...my DD is 11 and would still be thrilled to receive them as a gift

If anything, I'd say she's at the bottom end of the age range.

She's at the upper end. It depends on if the kit you were going to get is something she's really into. My GD is seven this year and she wouldn't be into them anymore, but her four years old sister is.

Definitely not. My 10yo still quite likes lego dots.

My DC didn’t ever get dots. They stayed in the box. Love Lego.

My 7 year old likes them. Be warned the pieces get lost very easily. Not as good as other Lego imo.

I've got them for 4-7 year olds. They really aren't that great.They used it half heartedly once and that's it. It's just decorating existing things with little dots. It's really not as good as normal Lego. I'd never buy it again and we are big Lego fans.

My 8.5 year old loves them and just got her friend a much coveted dots cupcake set for her 9th birthday, which she loved.

I've found younger girls don't quite "get" them, but around 8-9 they love them.

Depends how they play. My DDs like making mosaics with them.

Sort of like Lego hama beads...
