Flower pot for mum

Torn between posting here and in gardening, but went with here for traffic.
I'd like to do my mum a nice pre-planted pot of bulbs or something for Xmas. She's a keen gardener with a large yard, I'm completely clueless. I've seen some seed bombs full of English wildflowers for sale. Could I stick them in a pot for her now for them to grow in spring? she'd be genuinely pleased with a pot of compost as long as it grew flowers eventually , but would they take over the whole garden? I'd really appreciate any advice!

I would go to a garden center and find someone to help you. Buy a pot, compost, and bulbs. Learn how deep to plant them and when they bloom. Create a planting plan on that basis.

Bring it all to your Mom's and plant it together where she wants it to stay. Make sure it will get water but not be waterlogged.

So fun and so rewarding in the spring.
