This is the antithesis of all of those people who have beautiful tasteful trees with Scandinavian rustic decorations or beautifully shades of copper etc.
Thanks to the DC's insistence, we have 3 trees and one of them has slowly begun to be the "mythical creatures" tree. It started when I got a beautiful winged-lion bauble from John Lewis a couple of years ago, and DD1 got a mermaid. Since then we have added Poseiden, BigFoot, Fairies, a Witch, a couple of Christmas dragons, and some Christmas Gnomes (and slightly pushing the 'theme' we also have all the characters from Alice in Wonderland).
Has anyone seen any 'mythical' creature decorations that we haven't already covered? Ideally I'd like them to be properly mythy, eg gryphons, gorgons, gods, but I will settle for anything other than yet more mermaids
