My mum has some vouchers for Waitrose and wants to use them to get some special Christmas treats!

Can anyone recommend anything in particular?

They do Dundee cake this time of year if you like fruitcake.

Pfeffenusse (?) biscuits. A bit like lebkuchen but even nicer and only £1 per bag (very dangerous).

I like their own brand Belgian chocolate. Either the bars or chocolate biscuits. I prefer it to branded chocolate.

Panettone

Don't get the fancy lebkuchen in the boxes it's rubbish! Too adult rather than nice sugary sweet biscuits Grin

I’m not sure there’s anything that great food wise in Waitrose. M&S have the noticeable better versions.
I do like the green label fizz - often on offer and they do very good candles and smelly type stuff. I am gutted the pomegranate and sandalwood candle gas gone. Literally the nicest room smell ever.

Cherry and amaretto stollen
Thomas J Fudge dark chocolate florentines
Mince pie fudge
No 1 fig and balsamic relish
Fever Tree spiced orange ginger ale

Definitely the Heston black forest panettone 🤤🤤

casinoroyale4ever · 19/11/2021 09:07

Oh yes florentines - delicious.

I don't know if anyone is a fan of fizz but the Waitrose supermarket champagne usually wins awards and regularly on offer.
