How to attach outside lights

Can anyone tell me what I need for hanging outside string lights to our house? Do you attach it to the guttering? Any recommendations on what to use?

Also, a Santa hanging from a light up ladder arrived today for an outside side wall... again I'm clueless on how to attach it to the wall. It's quite heavy. Help please 🙏🏻

For the lights you'll need gutter hooks.

For the Santa I'd say you would need to drill into wall but you can make it easier on yourself just drill into the cement between the bricks and put rawl plugs then screw a couple of metal hooks in?
