Fill your own cracker sets

Has anybody come across some inexpensive crackers you fill yourself please?

I got last year's from Sainsbury's and they came flat packed, about £3.50 for 6. They don't seem to be doing them this year though :(

Is there a Hobbycraft near you, they do flat packed fill-your-own cracker kits.

I bought some from Tesco this week, £4 for a pack of 6 - they are not flat packed though, they are already made, but with one end untied so you can fill them.

Hobbycraft do them 6 for £5

The works had some last time I was in, want to say they were £3 for 6 but didn't pay too close attention tbh

I buy all the elements separately, having bought fill your own sets for years. I put a hat, joke, gifts etc in a little paper bag and name tag them up. you don't get the snap/bang, but it can be cheaper to do it this way and also you can get bigger bits and pieces to go in them, its less restrictive.

I bought some from The Works shop, 6 crackers for £3. They had reindeer, Santa or plain ones. I bought the ‘banger’ bit (can’t think what they’re called) from Hobbycraft.
