Best felt tips (7 years)

Any recommendations for felt tip pens? 7 year old is really into drawing but weirdly we don’t have any pens!

Argos used to have a crayola set with pens, crayons and pencils

I like sharpies but they aren't washable out of clothes like crayola

The berol fine tip ones are really good

Staedtler. Available at Tesco. Not the cheapest but they give a strong colour and last for ages. I'd also recommend their colouring pencils. They are softer than normal cheap colouring pencils so give a really strong colour with little pressure yet lasted two children for years.

Stabilo power are great - don't dry out even if you leave the lid off for a couple of days.
Crayola are fine but seem to dry out quite easily.

These WHSmith mega pack ones without a doubt have lasted the longest of all the ones I've tried and colour well. They have often gone down to half price in previous years and are a big box so make an impressive gift when opened:

the Ohuhu markers off Amazon are excellent.

Got my 9 yo a set of 100 for her birthday back in June and not one has dried up or run out and she uses them everyday.

Crayola are the worst for value, imo they get used up so quickly.

For a seven yr old these ones the lids are attached so you don't lose them/they don't dry out & the colours are great.
