All I want for Christmas - is a silver drinks tray!!

So we’ve decided to start early!!

The mincemeat is made and maturing, the cake is baked and being fed each day with brandy, the fire is lit and so are the candles. So we brought Christmas forwards into November today as we set up a silver drinks tray with a selection of our favourites!!

Now I’m feeling rather decadent, but very festive!

What have you sneakily set up for your Christmas? Or are we the only ones time-warping to Christmas?!

I've tried to watch some Christmas movies but nobody wants go watch them with me yet . Buzzkills.

Ive started on the mince pies and listen to some random xmas music channel!

Over here (see user name), we have to get through Thanksgiving first!

SiriusXM has started their Xmas music channels and I turned one on the other day just for the festive heck of it. DS2 ran into the room and said "Turn that off, it's not even Thanksgiving yet!!!".

So I have 2 more weeks before I can ramp up the HO HO HO!

I found last year's uneaten Christmas cake festering in the cupboard. Was still moist from all the alcohol despite nto being fed since last December!

@intemperateSpirits, we had 7 year old cake for our DS’s christening cake - amazing what alcohol can do!!!!

I never think about Christmas stuff, until about two weeks before the big day. I have already seen about six houses near to me,who have had trees and lights and stuff, all set up since the end of September.. Then some of them put up extra stuff out in the garden, for Halloween. at the same time.

I expect that after Christmas is over, they will all have little rabbits and chicks and easter eggs scattered all over their gardens.

Ooh what drinks tray have you got? I can only find gold!

This was mine last year. I have kept the light-up gin bottles to refill this year with homemade marmalade gin and blackberry brandy.
I feel it needs a few fairy lights wound round this year.

My female cat would throw it onto the floor
I don't actually drink so don;t needs a wine cooler/punch bowl , I'll pass and let someone else who is desperate to adorn their table snap up the bargain.

@blueshirtgirl I think @trumpton is right - fairy lights are the way to go with a festive drinks tray!! Luckily I think I have enough space for more bottles!!
