Help needed - Snacks to match films!

ByeBumpHiBaby · 12/11/2021 11:55

So DSD recently pointed me in the direction of something on Pinterest where a couple would pick a Disney film, and have snacks to 'match' e.g. The Princess and the Frog, they'd have chocolate frogs and beignets among other things.. She was most impressed Grin

So for the 3 or 4 weekends leading up to Christmas I want to surprise her (and the other DC) with a Christmas film and matching snacks. But I'm not really sure what films to pick (ages 9 and 3) or what food. I thought we could bounce some ideas around!

Any help would be appreciated, I'm thinking others on this board might enjoy this too Smile

Elf - get some lemonade and have a burping contest.
Home alone- sure he eats loads - pizza, popcorn, ice cream.
The Grinch - nothing! Smile

Home alone 2 - a cheese pizza just for me! Plus that amazing ice cream sundae
Polar express - hot chocolate

Harry Potter - M ad S doing lots of HP themed chocolate and pasties (for pumpkin pasties) . Drink could be pumpkin juice (orange juice and lemonade) or butterbeer - there are recipes online but simple ones are cream soda based :)

Frozen - chocolate fondu with marshmallows and biscuits to dip

It's a fun idea...

Never eat snacks when watching TV.. I can't sit around watching a lot of stuff, just a few chosen things, then some times have a couple of biscuits with a cup of tea,..
