My favourite perfume
A smart back pack
Maybe tickets to a show

knittingaddict · 11/11/2021 19:51

Lego. More Lego than we can actually afford or justify.

1forAll74 · 11/11/2021 19:56

Well, I had some nordic slipper boots, but now the bottoms have fallen apart, which could trip up an oldie like me,down the stairs, but will buy some myself on line. other wise, would like a nice quite exotic house plant, as not been to any garden centres for ages and ages,

TheYearOfSmallThings · 11/11/2021 19:58

World peace and a coat that makes me look sophisticated.

JetBlackSteed · 11/11/2021 20:05

I'd like the Molton brown stainless steel hand wash holder.
I'd never buy it for myself, but it is lovely

Nc123 · 11/11/2021 20:06

1930s school fiction books (don’t judge me)
Chocolate
Bag
New phone as mine has a crack in it
Slinky collectif coat
Some more of my lovely Dominic Ropion perfume that ran out

KevinTheKoala · 11/11/2021 20:08

Dr Who box sets seeing as they are no longer streaming on Netflix and some nice chocolates

FamBae · 11/11/2021 20:09

A hug from my daughter, she has a Qantas flight from Melbourne to the UK booked 'subject to government restrictions' so keeping my fingers crossed.

RobertsRadio · 11/11/2021 20:17

@Partyowl

I'd like to see my two sons. It's been nearly three years, they are in Australia/New Zealand and I miss them terribly.
Oh @Partyowl, that sounds tough. Have you got anything booked to see them next year? It's very bad luck to lose them both to the other side of the world.
InTropicalTrumpsLand · 11/11/2021 20:19

Money.

Absolutely not classy, but I'm applying for a Masters in Germany next year and since I'm not from an EU country I need to deposit over 10k per year to cover my stay BEFORE the year starts. And, since I come from somewhere with the worst exchange rates ever, that 10k becomes 67k.

I desperately need a new laptop, but this one will do for now. The starting salaries in Germany for the course I'd train in are 40k, so I'd get all my savings back in two years maximum of work in the area. It makes sense to suffer for now and reap the benefits later.

Pbbananabagel · 11/11/2021 20:22

A kimono jacket from one hundred stars
Real gold hoop earrings
Experience vouchers I.e afternoon tea or lunch on a riverboat type thing
Someone to offer to babysit my kids so I can have a really long bath with a cup of ginger and lemon tea and face pack on

RobertsRadio · 11/11/2021 20:31

My list would be: gourmet marshmallows, woollen fingerless mittens & wrist warmers, rust coloured cashmere hat and scarf, Lindt milk chocolate, a mini hot water bottle and a Mulberry large Antony satchel.

MissAmbrosia · 11/11/2021 20:33

Dd asked already and I said I'd like some Rituals hand wash and hand cream.
Normally I ask dh for Clinique stuff, new slippers or scarf or similar and perfume. I give him a list Grin

HelplesslyHoping · 11/11/2021 20:43

A new leather jacket from All Saints
A new purse
The Great Frog rings I hinted to DH at last week in Carnaby
Green amethyst earrings from Lily Blanche
The entire range of Fabulosa scents
A good night's sleep

Diva66 · 11/11/2021 21:21

Nothing. I’ve spent months decluttering and I’m ashamed how much stuff I had.

ancientgran · 11/11/2021 21:24

I've just had DH in a huff because he asked this and I couldn't think of anything. Some chocolates is the best I can come up with but to be honest if I want chocolates I buy them so it doesn't seem much of a treat.

DaphneDeloresMoorhead · 11/11/2021 21:48

A really nice leather bag for sheet music
Money towards the piano breaks I have booked at Finchcocks next year

That is what I will get

DaphneDeloresMoorhead · 11/11/2021 21:50

Have you read Anthony Buckeridge's Jennings series ? It's fab, his prose is very much like a junior PG Wodehouse. Set in a boys' prep school, Linbury Court, in the 1950s. I've loved them since I was 11
Titsywoo · 11/11/2021 21:50

A bloody rest. Chance would be a fine thing!

Gilly12345 · 11/11/2021 22:10

Nordic sockets
Perfume
New handbag (Fairfax and Favour)
New wellie boots
