Thanks @famousthehero for the title. I had no idea you could buy such things and I’m now imagining scores of children getting owl poo as a present for Christmas! They must be popular as they’re now out of stock 🤣.

If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

I finally got the chocolate!! 🎉

I don’t have any discounts to offer I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone, for helping me save £££££££s. I particularly enjoyed the WH Smith stacking codes Grin

Summertime10 · 11/11/2021 20:08

@Wetnosewarmheart

Hi all, does anyone have a Charlotte Tilbury code please? Despite me being a first time orderer I can’t get the 10% off code I was sent to work
Asos stock it and have 20% off today so it might be worth checking there.
RJnomore1 · 11/11/2021 20:12

There’s 15% off everything on the nuxe website today only. Free delivery over £20 and free small fave mask tub with every order.

There’s also 15% off your first order but I don’t know if they stack sorry.

It’s a lovely brand and I’d be delighted with a gift from there.

squishmycherry · 11/11/2021 20:14

@BadgerFace

Yes please *@squishmycherry* if still available, I am just about to buy some Boden things!
I've pm'd you!
VeruccaSalty · 11/11/2021 20:15

My sister bought my four year old one of these cameras from China.

Kids instant camera

They come with rolls of paper which are cheap to buy and print (low-quality) black and white pictures. He has had lots of fun with it and doesnt matter if he takes 20 photos of the dog's bum. The only thing is the battery stopped charging and we had to get a replacement from China, which was cheap but awkward.

@Pbbananabagel thank you! X

@thaegumathteth
I’m making my tricky gran a lovely pot of paper white bulbs in a nice pot, they bloom indoors just after Christmas and I’m going to make myself one as I love flowers in the new year to make me think of spring. I don’t think it would be expensive to do - nice to get something you don’t get around to doing normally. I also love a tasteful plain notebook so I can pretend I have my life/handbag in order.

Araisaris · 11/11/2021 20:20

@thaegumathteth these candles especially the Calm one are lovely and look more expensive than they are.

Scout2016 · 11/11/2021 20:22

QVC chocolates arrived today, thank you to those who mentioned them. I haven't been through everything but looks decent, splitting between my parents who will be chuffed. Only thing is you might want to hairdryer the sticker sealing the gift box, because mine made a mess coming off and took some of the pattern off too. Unless it's a mega hot hairdryer - don't melt your chocolates!

Changingagain · 11/11/2021 20:24

My son was given a basic old digital camera that a family member had in their drawer of old stuff and random cables that everyone seems to have when he was 3. He still loves it now years later, he can see his photos on it and we can hook it up to the pc if we want to. It's not been damaged at all but if it was, it wouldn't matter as it cost nothing.

DollyPartBaked · 11/11/2021 20:25

I've also got the chocolate!

WhyDoesItAlways · 11/11/2021 20:37

Be careful with the rubbish Sainsbury's toy sale. The Playmobil garage they have on sale for £30 is £25 in argos, which in our store is right next to the Sainsbury's toy aisle!

Picklesbaby · 11/11/2021 20:41

Has anybody got a spare £5 Halfords code please ?
trying to soften the blow of a new car seat 😶

agedmother · 11/11/2021 20:42

Any suggestions for traditional/nice quality cotton flannel PJs (womens)?

handmademitlove · 11/11/2021 20:44

For those with Carrot obsessed children, Kevin and friends are back on the 25th November...

ItWasTheBestOfTimes · 11/11/2021 20:46

Yes I found the same with the toy sale, I had DD2 with me at the time and she was pointing at one of the toys that was allegedly reduced from £33 to £23. When I googled it the argos store we have inside sainsburys had the same one for £20 not even on offer. I did get the kinds kids set as that seemed to be genuinely reduced and it was on DD1s list.

Famousthehero · 11/11/2021 20:52

@thaegumathteth

Does anyone have any token gift ideas for my sister in law? She's 50, 2 young kids, very stylish but not into make up etc, is loaded so can buy what she wants.... I've got her gin the last 4 years 😂 thinking around the £10 mark
@thaegumathteth not stylish, but if she has young children maybe the five minute mum book would be useful for her? Or the time for school version if they’re school age?

Maybe a nice insulated water bottle if she doesn’t have one already? From tk maxx or the usual thread bargain ones…

psuedocream3 · 11/11/2021 20:54

@Essexmate Many lifetimes ago I moonlighted In a well known coffee shop, the Nutella hot chocolate was literally a tablespoon of Nutella and hot frothed milk. And fresh made vanilla cream to top. Nothing overly fancy or complicated but it seemed it was quite popular in winter.

stopporridgestop · 11/11/2021 20:55

Can anyone tell me the name of the imitation sylvanian families? I'm not sure if it was smyths or Argos that did them. Thanks!

Twonka · 11/11/2021 21:04

@thaegumathteth
I’ve recommended on these threads before as I love mine (I don’t do yoga FYI)

Twonka · 11/11/2021 21:06

@Cosywosy

I can only see the dairy milk with Fresh delivery and I need to spend an additional £9.10 to check out. Am I missing something?
That’s the one but just scroll down to other suppliers
mrsanflowerpot · 11/11/2021 21:08

Scout2016 · 11/11/2021 21:08

@stopporridgestop Lil' Woodzeez? A few places do them I think, including their own site.

IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts · 11/11/2021 21:10

Has anyone bought the Harry Potter Invisibility Cloak (think it was mentioned a few threads back), and if so, is it worth it?

IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts · 11/11/2021 21:12

Am I the only person who had to Google Gary Barlow to find out who nobody wants to see in concert? 😂
