Mystery football kits - any tips?

Has anyone ever done this and which company did you use? Are there companies that are good and ones to avoid? Was the recipient happy? My DS(13) would really like one so just looking for recommendations! Just a bit worried he’ll end up really disappointed if it’s a naff team or a team he hates!

my DH friend is obsessed with these and does "unboxings" on insta & YT. its all XXL or ketchup stained. The good boxes are fake ones he makes himself??!?

I would buy a random one from ebay in a nice design and wrap it as a "mystery surprise". Nicaragua or somesuch.

My husband and friends also buy replicas from aliexpress etc. and were comparing real and replicas of sme special edition shirts - i was pretty surprised at the quality and accuracy.
They were virtually indistinguishable and about 10-15 each. It does take a while to arrive though

Thanks for you reply. Yes, that’s what I was worried about! There’s virtually no chance of getting something decent. DS has seen these ‘unboxings’ on YouTube…that’s where the idea came from. I like the idea of just doing one myself and wrapping it as a mystery box. Will give that some thought and look into it. Thanks!
