Presents for Lego maniacs

My DD is 5 and is a Lego fanatic. I don't have the bloody patience but she loves building stuff either as per the instructions (smaller sets) or from imagination for larger builds.
I will get her a big set for Xmas but what other toys might she like? Anything logic, following steps, building stuff etc?
Not brio, we have some and it doesn't really don't for her.

I have the Lego catalogue in front of me right now!

This is a bit expensive as a non main present, but I know that there are some generic versions of this sort of thing for a lot cheaper.

Agree this is what I was going to suggest.

I know you asked for other ideas that were notego based OP but unfortunately it's the thingsm she loves and in my experience you should lean into it rather than find something similar she may or may not like.

Yes @around, that sounds like a good about. Usually I use the dustpan and 'scoop' it all up 😁

Ah benign neglect and being able to occupy herself is a useful life skill, definitely one worth nurturing.

Just be aware small lego fans often turn into larger lego fans and then eventually AFOLs and the lego will never leave until she moves out.
