Lakeland Advent Stable

I’m absolutely gutted…. For approx 5/6yrs (the first time I saw it) I fell in love with the advent stable, every year I would say to DH I’m 100% getting it this year it was a long standing joke between us. I would stop myself because of the price and not really being able to afford it. We have been left an inheritance and so finally I can buy one guilt free and it’s been bloody discontinued!!! I only looked 2/3wks ago. I’ve looked every year and can’t find anything like it. I don’t know weather to laugh or cry….

Okay…. I spoke to Lakeland via Twitter and they checked the stores that have stock for me and DH is en route to collect one for me now

@tulips27 he’s actually pretty amazing, he had to give up work and become my carer when I became ill and he would do absolutely anything for me.

I was going to suggest ringing the main Windermere store but I see they have tracked one down for you. That is great. You will enjoy it for years.😀

Answer:The stable, as I recall rotates but does not come off the base but do not buy this item as it is poor quality.

It’s £79.99 but DH paid £72 as she signed up for the Lakeland loyalty card or something.

I’ve just sat and checked that none of the animals that’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it are broken and I’m completely in love

The Avent stable that B&M have done for a few years is nice for children. The figures are darker skinned, which is a nice touch. It's nice to see that the Playmobil one linked isn't an all white cast.

I was in Westfield Stratford yesterday and saw some in there!!! They had one on display in the window and another one in the shop. I immediately thought of this thread. So glad to read you got one though OP

Oops, posted too early.

He might yet be lurking behind a door, but none of my figures so far look like a Joseph to me. I have a man with grey hair and a lantern who I think is the innkeeper, but DM thinks he's Joseph. I think he looks a bit old though!
