Last batch of in the night garden toys have hit UK!

I read today that getting hold of toys from In The Night Garden was going to be really hard this year.

A, It's the number 1 must have kids christmas pressie apparantley

B, According to what iv'e heard the last batch of toys are already in the country and once there gone thats it till after christmas.

My friend has been out and spent £300 on the big iggle piglles which dance, just so she can put them up on ebay in december. She reckons she will make a small fortune on them. I wish i had the money to do this . Saying that i dont think i could actually do it knowing that other mums n dads like me are desperate to get a toy and will be seriously out of pocket. Oh well thats just me i guess.

Does anyone remeber the Telly Tubby rush?

lol that was a laugh n half.

According to a site i was emailed earlier you can get a free plush iggle piggle or makka pakka on there.

I don't understand 'must have' toys for little kids! I can't imagine how my 16month DD could even know there is such a thing as a 16" dancing iggle piggle TBH!

She loves ITNG and gets excited when she hears the music. I have a 3yr old DS and even he doesn't know what to ask Santa for, just "surprises", and I intend to keep it that way for as long as possible!

I'm the only person to respond and I don't want an iggle piggle, maybe your friend won't make that small fortune she wants! Demand doesn't seem to high!

I don't like the big dancing ones. The smaller ones with sound are much nicer IMO. There seem to be loads in the shops though, so I'd be surprised if your friend can sell at a profit.
