Book gift for a 7yo

My 7yo nephew is just getting into reading for pleasure. If he loves Roald Dahl, what else would he like? Ideally something with a few books available in the series so could buy him a box set.

Ds loves the captain underpants series, Harry Potter (although I'm reading those to him) some of the David Williams books. I've also bought him some Tom Gates books for Christmas.

My nearly 7 year old has really loved ‘The Nothing to See Here Hotel’ series. It has 4 books but can get first three as a set.

I’ve also quite enjoyed it ( sometimes o read to him).

Thank you all - some great ideas! I’ve gone with a couple from the treehouse series and a couple from the hotel series. I’m also going to give him my old copy of the magic faraway tree, see how it goes down and maybe get a couple more if he likes it!

The Stink series by Megan McDonald is great my seven year old has read them all and loves them.

The Omar series by Zanzibar Mian is also a favourite in our house.

Any of the David walliams books. They have a set in the works.

My sons just turned 8 and is starting to get through harry potter.

If he's into minecraft there is a book series called into the game where a group of friends end up in minecraft worlds. They has them in the works and I've seen it on amazon.
