Party dress

Has anyone for any recommendations of where to look for a nice girls party dress. A fairly traditional type one - I love the John Lewis Heirloom ones but the gorgeous one with sparkly top/velvet skirt is out of stock Sad. Usually like a tartan one too but also not seen any of them that would fit. I’ve not seen any on Boden that grab me this year. Monsoon is a possibility but just wondering if there are any lesser known companies that I’ve not thought of?

Etsy do some really pretty ones! Or Trotters?

If you don't mind second hand, you can find some gorgeous ones from eBay.
Much cheaper and perhaps dresses you wouldn't see on another child!

M&S are fairly good for party dresses. They’ve got a few to choose from including this but they all tend to stop at size 7 years. For bigger sizes, I’d look at Next. This one comes in lots of colours.

I like Next, H&M for party dresses for dd.

Thanks all. There is a lovely tartan one on Trotters but I’m just not sure if I want to stretch the budget that far Confused. I need bigger than an age 7 so unfortunately a lot of the marks ones are too small. Like that Lipsy one from Next. Off to search Etsy, never thought of looking there!

Mayoral are always worth a look as are Coast.

DD got a lovely sequin puff sleeve dress from river island of all places for a party last weekend!

TK Maxx carry a brand called Cinderella which are all very cute, princessy party dresses.

I noticed a couple of days ago that F&F in Tesco had a traditional style tartan dress. It looked nice and was about £14 (I think) but not sure what age it went up to though.

I often fine nice party dresses for DD on eBay and local FB selling pages. Generally great condition and low prices.

Oh great thanks, lots to have a look at! Totally forgot about TK Maxx, they usually have loads right enough...will maybe pop in there tomorrow.
