On holiday at the moment and noticed that the GH Christmas edition (and Woman and Home) was on sale in the newsagents.

Have subscribers got theirs yet?

(Please say yes so I know it will be waiting for me when I get home on Friday).

Ive been buying Woman and Home regularly for the past few months. Prefer it to GH. Any decent articles in the Christmas W&H?

Somehow seeing Eamon on the front cover just didn't seem very Christmassy

DH seems to have Nigella or Lorraine Kelly and her fake wee laugh face so I'll take Eamon.
I'm relieved when it's a little girl and a labradoodle

In a word - no. It felt like a Larry let down. I was expecting it to be much more Christmassy, hoping for present ideas etc. Instead there are a few naff chick lit Christmas stories.

I got my December subscriber copy the other day and my Christmas special about a week ago.

Oh how disappointing.

I think I'm the only person on the planet who doesn't like chocolate orange flavour 🤣

Bought it today ( full size with Joanna Lumley on the front . Mot like last year it was Nigella Lawson and I could only get the tiny size )
Not opened it yet , I have Hallowe'en to plan

I got the GH the day before yesterday, was very excited! I don't feel it's quite lived up to the last few years, but it was good enough. Now to hunt me down the W&H and I'll have collected the full annual set!

Teehee, and I LOVE salted caramel!

Hope there's no bare feet - especially on the front cover. Why are GH obsessed with showing the bare feet of their cover stars and nearly all interviewees. I had to stop subscribing. Maybe Christmas edition will be less yuk.

Whats the GH Christmas cake like this year. I loved last years snoozing robins.

Thank You. I did buy a copy on Saturday and left it at my mums. She isnt up to cooking anymore so my niece and i were poring over the Christmas dinner for beginners section. Its a pretty cake but i prefer last years snoozing robins. So cute.

Which Xmas magazine should I buy? I never buy magazines other than at Xmas but last year left it so late, the Jan issue only was available.

Should I get W&H or GH - or is there another one ? Not looking for loads of recipes, more just a lovely warm festive feeling.

I have Woman and Home and Red. The former ive been buying every month for the last few months , the latter ive been buying every month for well over a decade.
