If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

Help pls I managed to get a Halloween biscuit tin from m&s, how on earth do you get the biscuits out!

Jedstre · 28/10/2021 12:35

@Beautiful3

I have been up most of last night searching for large squishmallows! Can't get any 20 inch/50cm ones anywhere. Has anyone seen any please?
I got one a couple of weeks ago at Costco

You have to take the bottom out. I ended up using a knife to loosen it.

@Pontypandytaxpayer thanks I'm in!

Those looking for Tonies to use with their box, an indie store I have used a few times has an offer on for Christmas. The store is wooden, sensory and soft play, and the code works on all spends over £44

Thank you @xmasdealhunter & @HeartKingThistle I've ordered the bunny from Next, it was only £40 when they're normally £55 for the 20inch ones! Also I've just checked Amazon again, they now have the Swan back in stock! I've bought both for the girls. Thank you so much! 😊 💛 💛

xmasdealhunter · 28/10/2021 12:54

@Beautiful3 glad I could help :)

Beautiful3 · 28/10/2021 12:55

@Jedstre I wish I had a membership for Costco, but don't have one! I'm all sorted now, thank you.

Just had my order delivered from we print balls (no sniggering please Grin) really pleased with the bits I got for DH, they do personalised balls for all different sports and some generic dad/daddy ones. £4 postage but cheaper than the other sites they sell through: weprintballs.co.uk/collections/clearance-1

Smyths have this one
bigarse1 · 28/10/2021 14:04

Just wanted to say thanks so much for everyone's advice. I now have a list of things i can at least look for for my husband and have managed to order my little pony knickers!
I have managed to have a chat to him today and we have worked out his chemo schedule in regards to Christmas and now know that he will be at his worst point where he is barely conscious and doesnt even know who is in the house.
So today im going to make plans of the things the children think are important at Christmas and make sure I manage those things. Im not sure how the lunch is going to work as one children especially has to have 1-2-1 care at all times. I need to give that some thought but I think people have made me realise that it is all about comfort and being ok not presents. So i will keep my eyes out for bargain dvds, books, switch games for the children and sleeping headphones, nice snacks and subscriptions for my husband. Im going to do some social stories for the children so they know that it will be very different this year as daddy wont be having lunch or opening presents but i can show them all the things we can still do.
so, sorry for huge post but just wanted to take a minute to say you are all lovely and very much appreciated!
Any bargains on lottie dolls would be appreciated xx

@bigarse1 there is a thread on here about pre prepping Christmas lunch if that would be of use to you? I've got my gravy cooking now ready to freeze.

Or I'm sure the kids wouldn't turn down a takeaway pizza or something. I'm sure they'll be happy with whatever is less stressful for you.

WayneBruce · 28/10/2021 14:36

Thanks for the Adidas code, got DS a bew coat I was just about to buy from Next and a few t shirts.

Also got xmas eve pj's sorted and bagged the m&s advent calender for myself.

Love this thread Smile

Minionbums · 28/10/2021 14:37

@bigarse1 I’ve got a tear in my eye now! Thank you for letting us know where you are with it and I wish you all the best. And that, for me, is one of the reasons I shop early for Christmas - starting straight after it’s over getting next years crackers etc - because the important things in December are relaxing and enjoying myself. So even if you do one or two bits each week from now on it will help you not stress closer to Christmas xx

Minionbums · 28/10/2021 14:38

@WhyDoesItAlways I’ve got a friend who always has a barbecue, she hates the roast. It’s made me rethink things (although I do love a roast, but why do things just because it’s the norm??)

Scout2016 · 28/10/2021 14:40

@sorryiasked thank you. Jac In A Box are a good company, have used them before.

WhyDoesItAlways · 28/10/2021 14:41

@Minionbums absolutely agree. Anything goes Christmas day, eat what you like and take the stress out!
