Hotwheels

DS (5) has asked FC for hot wheels. Any suggestions for a good starter set for under around £80? He has some cars at the minute that he likes racing, smashing in to each other and jumping over books etc.
It looks a bit confusing! Just want something you don’t necessarily have to connect other things to.

We found this one to be really good. Quick and easy set up. Stable and easy to store. Some of the other sets we have had are tricky to use and the cars come off the track all the time. www.smythstoys.com/uk/en-gb/toys/construction-and-cars/hot-wheels/hot-wheels-playsets/hot-wheels-track-builder-system-race-crate-toy-cars-playset/p/166983

We bought this for DGS's fourth birthday, as requested by his DPs.
It cost £24.99 from Amazon in June, now £34.99. Shock

Hot Wheels Monster Truck Scorpion Sting Raceway

The 'scorpion' aspect seemed to be vital. Apparently he still plays with it very frequently.

I went through a Hot Wheels stage with my DC and found most of the tracks are rubbish! As @Marvel23 said the cars often come off the tracks and they're hard to put together. My best suggestion would be to buy second hand off facebook because it's really not worth the money new!
