Strong Paper Plates

Just typed a huge long post and then lost it so I'll be brief - which is probably best all round anyway!

I'm doing a Christmas Eve buffet for loads of family and for ease I'd like to use paper plates. Ideally festive, but most importantly strong - not like e.g. flimsy kids party plates.

Does anyone have any recommendations please?

We used some bamboo ones for a party recently that were very sturdy

Thanks both.

@SnarkyBag I love the idea of bamboo plates but I'm not sure I can get festive ones?

@Ricekrispie22 those are the ones I've found too (although they seem to be £1 cheaper on Ginger Ray than on Party Pieces) - unless anyone else swoops in with any brilliant ideas I think they're the ones I'll go for.

Thank you!

Definitely Costco. They're not festive but they're by far the best I've tried.

I was going to say Costco too, really strong and reasonable. Obviously you need to be a member or know someone who is.

I'd opt for strength over Christmassy, although my personal preference is to eat off plain plates. Lovely Christmas napkins will make it more festive.

Thanks everyone. I'm not a Costco member but have been considering it for a while...sounds like paper plates might be the thing that finally makes me go for it 😂😂😂
