Has anyone had any experience of John Lewis artificial Christmas trees?

Never had an artificial tree but thinking of getting one this year!

Yes. We got one last year. Think it was about £200 but it’s beautiful. After years of being too tight to pay for an expensive tree we decided to treat ourselves and we are really pleased with it.

I've had a JL one for years. It's called Fred and we love it Smile

Yes we have a JL one, it's lasted well over the 5 years we've had it. Nice and full.

All sounds positive then! I don't think they're as expensive as some of the other ones but ideally we are looking for a tree that lasts forever (!) and didn't want to get one that is still quite costly but not durable for the sake of an extra £50.

We had a cheap 4 or 5” one (£25) a couple of years ago because we were only going to be home in December for a few days so it wasn’t worth getting our big one down from the loft. I wasn’t expecting much for the price, especially considering the quality of supermarket trees for the same price, but I was beyond impressed. It was beautiful.

Really annoyingly, we need one again this year but they’re all a lot more expensive so we’re going to Argos. (JL’s tree was rehomed to someone who desperately needed a new one, it wasn’t binned, and is looking as good as new). I’d definitely buy another from there though.
