I’m
Thinking of getting DS some hot wheels track sets for Christmas, he’s 4.5. Any that you would recommend? Ideally not huge giant structures which take up half the room looking at you Paw Patrol Tower

My boys have the criss cross track- it’s big and impressive when its out but packs away nicely.

I've just ordered the giant loop the loop and Toxic Slam Gorilla for myself (I am a 41 year old Mother of DD, for full disclosure, so not quite your demographic Grin). Can't bloody wait to receive them on Christmas day!

We are getting my daughter the 4 way criss Cross crash set. Its quite big but looks like it comes to pieces to put away so hopefully won't take up too much space

I've bought the hot wheels storage container that folds out into a ramp, you can put 5 cars on it and release them at the same time. Simple, but useful. You can add it on to other sets of open ended track too. I looked at the big sets but they all have such mixed reviews and I can't think where I would store one.

Ds (5) has the some cars and the triple loop set and it's one of his favourite toys. I have bought him a few of the 'track builder' bits for Xmas, these are the kind that you put together in different ways to design your own track and I think they will provide more entertainment than getting specific sets.

I came on to ask this exact question for my DS, 4.

Can I also ask, do all of the sets connect together? Are there any particular pieces we NEED for the whole thing to work?

Thanks!
