presents for DTs

Looking for some advice. My DT?s aged 6 are looking for an Xbox/playstation3/NintendoWii for Xmas and I?m not sure what the best one is or if I should even be considering one. Although ?Game? told me there is a wider selection of games suitable for 6 year olds on Xbox as opposed to PS3 that doesn?t seem to be the case as all the games I see, look like they are for older children. The Nintendo Wii seems to have the most suitable range for that age group. They both have a Nintendo Ds and whilst I would be happy that this should be enough for them, all they seem to want is one of these 3 consols. Also I would like to know the one that would be most suitable for both to play together, as I couldn?t bear fights on Xmas day.

They have got great use from the Nintendo DS since last year so maybe I am mad to get them something else similar?

Must admit, that if we do get another console, then it would be a Wii...es has a PS2 and he loves that, and the Buzz games are so much fun

Id go for the wii. My 5yo and 7yo love it. I thinkt he controls are so much easier for younger children to get the hang of too.

Wii bought this morning. Probably paid a bit too much for some accessories that the Dt's wont use yet but at least its a present that both can use together.
