Keepsake gift

We are (hopefully) going to Lapland for a short break before Christmas with DCs 7 and 5. We have to provide a present which we take with us and gets passed onto Father Christmas for our visit.

There's a price Iimit of approximately £15 for the present, so that all of the children on the trip receive a similar value present.

I am thinking of getting something off their list but also a small keepsake present which perhaps can come out every year as a reminder of the trip. I'm thinking of something like a small bell (like in polar express) or a small snow globe or special bauble.

Does anyone have any ideas of something small but lovely I could give them?

Came to say bauble but then realised it's actually from Father Christmas so maybe not. It's not very exciting and you'll be able to buy one there.

Snowglobe sounds good though!

It sounds like you might be going with the same company we went with a few years ago. We went for a toy that could be immediately played with as there is quite a bit of waiting while all the families get their time with Santa and it kept the dc busy (we got disney barbie type dolls because the dc wrote to santa asking for these).

We then got a keepsake snow globe, inside was a signpost with Lapland 2018 and the names of all the people who went. We had to arrive when we got back in the dc's christmas eve hamper.

Another keepsake that was worked well for us was that I got an etsy seller to write a beautiful letter from Santa inviting us to lapland.

Given DD was meeting the real Father Christmas, we got her something off her letter to FC list which, in this case, was Barbie Rapunzel!
I think a snow globe is a lovely idea.

A book that you can read every Christmas
