I'm doing the in-laws this year! What's a nice gift for a couple to share? we have lots of nephews and nieces and spend more on them (plus lots of winter birthdays!), but looking at £25-£30/couple.

A hamper you prepare yourself?

I assume you mean Bil/SIL?

A bottle of local gin?
Voucher for cinema or restaurant plus an offer to babysit?
Wine, wax covered cheese and crackers?

A book each plus wine and chocs?

A board game like Settlers of Catan, if they are likely to be in to that sort of thing?

A bottle of whisky? I've got Penderyn on my list for my brother.

We did hotel chocolat last year and a good bottle of plonk year before. I love the game idea! Fortunately kids are in their late teens/20s so no babysitting requires!
