Kid K'nex

Does anyone know from what age Kid K'nex is appropriate (recommended age is 3-7). I was wondering whether it would be good for a 3.5 yr old sticklebrick/duplo/lego fan?! Or is it too tricky?
Thx

I've bought ds2 some for Christmas he's 2 and 3 months. He plays with it at day care and loves it. Ds1 (age 7) also loves it so it's something they can do together (for a change!).

Mind you one I've bought him is quite large and has small marbles and he puts things into his mouth so will need to be supervised but apart from that I would go for it.

Thank you! Hmm, the only prob is we already have a present for ds so may have to drop hints with family. I'm excited about it but can't spend anymore money...!

Cool, glad to hear that girls are into it as well (we also have a dd(1)). I think it's good that they market at boys and girls (anyone seen any pink lego recently?)
