Can we have a thread of recipes that people revisit each year...
I currently only repeat one recipe each Xmas - Hairy Bikers Honey Glazed Gammon. It's delicious and we have it every Xmas Eve.
I'd particularly like some recipes for sides now my dc's are getting older and I can be less reliant on time saving pre-made stuffings and sauces etc

My 'every year' vegetables are;
Delia's red cabbage - I use a mulled wine sachet instead of the spices, a bit more subtle and a lot easier! It freezes really well too so I decant some into takeaway boxes to use with roasts during the years.

Delia's Parmesan parsnips are gorgeous. You can make ahead (and even freeze, but I usually make Christmas Eve and stick them I to the garage till needed.

Occasionally I make this root mash instead of the Parmesan parsnips.

I then keep the other veg (sprouts, carrots, swede) fairly simple.

Other sides are usually stuffing, cranberry sauce, bread sauce, home made pigs in blankets and prunes/apricots wrapped in bacon.

BBC good food chilli jam. I made it last year as gifts and it was a huge hit with everyone. Have plans to make it again this year and every year there after.
