Laptop suitable for Roblox

We're considering buying DD (7) a laptop for Christmas. I know it's young but it's something we know she'll use both for leisure and school work (they are using laptops more and more in class).

She loves Roblox and to a lesser extent Minecraft so whatever we buy needs to be suitable for that as well as school work which at the moment involves some online learning and games and basic tying.

Is it likely that we could get something for a budget of around £200 - happy to get something secondhand.

Definitely think you could get something for this - maybe even new. To lox and Minecraft aren’t overly complicated or difficult to run so any standard laptop will do for that really (my son plays both of these and has one of the cheapest laptops I could find lol). I would go to Curry’s and ask the staff what is suitable for your needs.

I didn't think that was possible and that there were limitations?

Can you also use Chromebooks for school work/learning? Does it have/can you install ms office for example?

My dd also uses a chrome book for school and roblox! Chrome book has google docs on but you can transfer them to word/excel and roblox is fine on there. We paid £250 and I am very happy with it.

Our new last Christmas Chromebook has never run Roblox properly.
So no, not a Chromebook!

Both ours play roblox on the chromebook with no issue and used it for home learning. They have one each as do 2 of my nieces, I prefer them to my laptop!
