Very happy that the Lego set my DD really wants was half price in the Argos sale. Bargain!

Thanks for the Argos sale heads up. One of the Lego sets is on the list so I've got that. What made it particularly bargainous is that Argos sent me a £5 off voucher last night so it brought a £35 set down to £23.

It's worth checking your emails to see if you have one. They seem to be random as I haven't had them sometimes when others have on here.

Has anyone tried the primark and the dunelm 'oodies' and can offer a comparison? I can get to either store but they are quite far in opposite directions so would be a pain to drive to both to compare. Or can anyone tell me which cheap oodie is closest to the real thing?

I know! I have got a few birthdays coming up so got them for those too. My DD and her friends aged 10 are all obsessed with them.

Be careful with the argos offers. A couple of years ago was going to buy a playmobil Noah's ark that was 'half-price' but out of stock. Then found it cheaper at Smyths and not even in the sale. Just happened now as well, saw a Pokemon game I thought DS would like in the Argos sale and checked Smyths and it is cheaper there full price.

Just a note for those who tried to use the CHEFA code for pasta evangelists, I emailed them to ask why my free gift hadn't been applied and they have emailed back to confirm it is a tech issue and I will recieve my pasta making set.

Aaaaand.. I’m off! Been mainly a lurker on here for years (💐 to Reastie and the old-timers!) from the finger-light days. Hadn’t even thought about Xmas yet this year, but have been horizontal with Covid for a week or so and needed something to occupy myself, so I thought - I’ll just have a look at the bargain threads… read the last 4 I think over the last day or so and started a mental list. But nickdrakeslovechild’s fidget bargain has just tipped me over the edge. There a couple of things in there my son wants and I reckon I can sell the rest on fb, cheaper than buying the couple of things separately.

I’m on a slippery slope now.. Merry September people!

Does anyone know of any H&M codes flying about? I'm a member and there's nothing showing in my account, I want a very particular pair or slippers so I don't want to hang on for a 20% off in case they go out of stock.

Agree argos bargains, a price search is a good idea to gauge whether it's a true bargain. It's mainly for their own brand items that I look for, tiny treasures, designafriend etc. Often if it's a big brand item like playmobil, barbie etc other retailers like Very or Amazon price match.

@Fuckingfuckssake there's 20% off with a student discount. Perhaps someone on here can share a code with you? sorry I'm too old to be a student
