If you’re posting anything specifically for Reastie please do @reastie or She may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

I'm rubbish at short links hopefully someone can help?

Received my teddy bear oversized hoodies from Dunelm today. So far very pleased with the quality for £16. Hope they wash well but normally I find Dunelm stuff wears well.

AnotherOne4 · 01/10/2021 20:00

@Ourlady - Thanks-you for asking about 3D Printers. I'm now researching into them, particularly the Ender 3Blush
Love this thread and how it can throw up random ideas and you go with them Grin

We have the teddy bear bedding and it still looks as good as new despite being the second year we use it.

I’m going to go against the grain here and say don’t get teacher presents, especially if money is to G to too. I never did and obv it’s personal choice. A couple of teachers I’ve wanted to thank Ive emailed the head for their performance review.

WayneBruce · 01/10/2021 20:06

Thanks for Boots heads up. Got loads of stocking fillers and a few in the 3 for 2. I'm getting close to finishing Shock

@mummyof2boys30

Next have fake kids oodies. They have a minecraft one, navy or grey. The minecraft one is lovely. I got x2 today for my boys. The age 11-13 is 3/4 the way down their legs and they are age 11 and 9 (normally wear 12-13). Not as thick as normal oodies but lovely and soft. Only £23
@mummyof2boys30 do you have a link please? I can't find it!
mummyof2boys30 · 01/10/2021 20:18

The minecraft oodie in next5 is under fleece poncho. The www has the wrong image. I took chance and orderer it

Hi I know I’m a year late 🙈 but my oldest is having sleep problems abd im thinking a weighted blanket might be worth trying for her. She’s 22 this year somehow... anyone got any suggestions or bargains?

NigelSlatersXmasTaters · 01/10/2021 20:21

Ha love that pic of your boy @mummyof2boys30

He looks like the dunelm photo of their fake oodies. Very Halloween-esque

Lol ignore the messy background 😂 im tempted for one for myself. It was meant to be for Christmas but with weather being so cold i couldn't resist and gave them early
SpamIAm · 01/10/2021 20:31

Lots of the Usborne Sticker Dolly Dressing books are reduced or 2 for £7 on amazon. I've just ordered a load for the present box and for DD for Christmas. She's 4 and loves these, and they're lovely quality too.

There's also a where's the poo sticker book included in the 2 for £7 if anyone else is buying for a poo-obsessed child 🙄

NigelSlatersXmasTaters · 01/10/2021 20:31

I'm waiting for the primark ones. Wish they'd give a release date!

SweetPeaPods · 01/10/2021 20:32

@mummyof2boys30 great pic. How have you found the sizing. Ds1 is in age 10 so not sure whether to size up or not.

That's the age 11-13. My son is almost 12 though small for his age. I got his 9 year old bro same size

Smileatthesmallthings · 01/10/2021 20:45

Bit late but to those talking about teacher/TA gifts, I've been a school TA for 12 years and never once had to buy my own stationary. On my tree every year goes a couple of lovely little handmade decorations made by kids (and sometimes their parents - one is a beautiful knitted tree). We never expect anything, but also don't need any more mugs! In fact, we have to use lidded cups/bottles in school these days. However, I came across personalised stickers recently and they are a great idea! Smile

When my son left nursery this year I sent in a big hamper of chocolates because there were loads of staff (bought generic tubs and tipped them into a hamper) and added assorted mini bottles of wine from Asda (3 for 2). I also got the kitchen staff a gift from him and he made them a card, and apparently they were thrilled as they always get left out!!

Didn't mean for that message to be so long, apologies.

Minionbums · 01/10/2021 20:46

Was in the massive Birmingham Primark earlier and they had the kids as buddies/Oodies in Minion and (I think) Minecraft but I couldn’t see any in the girls section and didn’t have time to look for adults.

I was out shopping today, Primark had a 'men's' Pizza fake Oodie (they called it a Snuddie) and also a Pizza one - these were huge and classed as 'one size', the women's ones come in S/M and L/XL and we're quite small compared to the mens, they had Minnie Mouse and also a pink unicorn one.
