M&S Christmas food to order has gone live. Colin is an elf this year. Lots more choice than last year. The sticky toffee pudding looks amazing.

I've ordered an M&S frozen stuffed Turkey crown from Ocado for delivery next week. I can't face the M&S Christmas pick up line this year (And won't know if I can take leave on Christmas Eve until later anyway) it'll be good to have it in the freezer ready. I've ordered pigs in blankets and a few other frozen bits.

Those asking about buying in store, on the whole yes but the Colin’s sold out very quickly last year and there isn’t the choice, I’ve never seen the big fish platters or lobster etc.

If you look on the website it will tell you where the meat is from. Often with the chicken it says UK/EU. Then google slaughter in the EU if it's something you would really want to research as the results can be grim.

Thank you for flagging this! Ordered today - couple of desserts and the sausage roll wreath and some other bits. We get our Turkey from a butcher and we'll pick up some nibbles too when we collect in store.

Very poor selection but I'm not doing any proper cooking so I've still ordered. I must be marks and Spencers dream customer.

I think it’s pretty disappointing, we’ve ordered hardly anything but we are collecting on Christmas Eve so can go round the actual shop for cheesecake etc . What annoys me , and it’s not just Marks that are guilty , is that they put alcohol in with everything , who seriously wants brandy in their prawn cocktail or cider with their melting cheese - nobody who is tee total like me ! Rant over .
