Adult novels with a Christmassy feel - not too corny?

(Apart from A Christmas Carol…)

I just thought of Winter Solstice (Rosamund Pilcher) which I will re read nearer the time.
Any recommended favourites?

The Box of Delights!

(sorry, not adult, but I've very much enjoyed re-reading as an adult)

Murder for Christmas by Francis Duncan - a traditional whodunnit.

The Snow Child - not festive as such but seasonal-ish!

@ditalini I enjoyed re-reading it too and then rewatching the creepy adaptation on you-tube. The opening theme music gave me nightmares as a child.

I can’t really think of many at all. I also love Holly and Ivy by Rumer Goden for a children’s Christmas story. I’ll be buying it to read to DD this Christmas.

I've started reading my stash of Trisha Ashley, definitely formulaic but seriously readable and do have that christmassy vibe.

Oooooh! I love The Dark is Rising - must dig it out soon..

Tonight will be bad but tomorrow will be BEYOND IMAGINING

Love it!
