Dolls House

Hi can anyone recommend a good sturdy dolls house for an older child of 7.

Something that Barbies LOL dolls and other figures can call home.

Or has anyone any experience of buying the furniture separately and making an IKEA Kallax into a house? I have seen on Pintrest but not sure if it would cost more in the long run

We’ve got an ELC one. I bought it off fb about 4 years ago second hand. It’s still growing strong even with my youngest trying to sleep in it. It’s really tall and used for all sorts of dolls.

Kidcraft is a good make of large dolls houses

Our granddaughter has the kidkraft Zoey dolls house and it's beautiful (and holding up to enthusiastic play very very well).

We had a second hand kidkraft one, was absolutely lovely. Despite dd loving playing with furniture/cars and sets for her dolls. The house barely got used. Just became a crap collector! So think carefully if its something your dd will love and use. (My dd was around 7 too!)
