thats a good one to work around. Good luck.

VictorianSqualor · 05/12/2007 12:08

How old are they???
I doubt DD or DS would even realise if I moved their stockings, I go in everynight and move them, tuck them in etc they never stir.
Maybe you could start pushing them about every night so they get used to it

When they send their letter to Santa, get him to write back saying please leave your stocking at the end of bed or if you take them to see Santa see if you can steer the conversation that way. Best of luck.

Father Christmas will absolutely not risk waking children up - he may just leave the presents on the sofa instead - you know how he doesn't like to be seen!

wheresthehamster · 05/12/2007 12:51

A note by each of their pillows in best Santa writing "Didn't want to wake you have left your pressies at the end of the bed"

redrosebug · 05/12/2007 12:56

Fill a couple of large socks instead (e.g. football socks/ski socks) and leave little note saying he couldn't find their stockings and could they make sure they are left out obvious next year.

PrincessSnowLife · 05/12/2007 12:58

lol at their plan

ChopsterRoastingOnAnOpenFire · 05/12/2007 13:01

hide all the presents in a cupboard and tell them santa couldn't find the stockings.

MaureenMLovesmincepies · 05/12/2007 13:18

Bless them! It would be hilarious to try and get them off them in the dead of night! I'd try that if you can. If not, a note saying he couldn't find their stockings.

noddyholder · 05/12/2007 13:23

I would leave new ones with a note saying 'You didn't think I'd fall for that dod you?I've been santa along tome you know!'I miss all that stuff can you tell?

bananaknickers · 05/12/2007 13:37

i think they are just so deperate to see him
