New artificial Christmas tree

Looking for suggestions of a new artificial tree. I love the ones on the Balsam Hill site but the ones I like are too wide. I think we bed no more than 38".

The reason I love the BH ones are they are really bushy and look real plus they have a sale!

Max budget £350 though DH will have a heart attack if I spend that much. I want it to be 6 - 7 foot high and green.

Our current tree is 6 foot but sparse looking I feel. Any suggestions much appreciated

I've never heard of Balsam Hill, so googled them.

Those prices! Mine was £25 from Asda

For realistic, look for trees made from polyethylene (PE) rather than PVC. We wanted a Balsam Hill one and were just about able to justify the sale prices, but for the height we wanted it was just too wide. We bought a 7ft slimline one from Christmas Tree World with PE tips and PVC in the middle; it cost £140 in 2019. It was to replace one that came from either B&Q or Homebase about 20 years ago for £40 and unfortunately only stands at an angle nowadays.

One thing I would say about cheaper fake trees: when they say it's 6ft, it's actually about 5'2" with one ten inch twig rising from the top.
