how old is she

DS also mad keen on animation

so far we have stuck to the here's a notebook .. draw a different picture on each page with very small movements and flick fast to animate

and we have the old-fashioned picture window toys too (can't remember name but will post when I do)

Also can get computer aided design programmes for animation but would suggest these are for much older

animation is basically bringing drawings to life so really depends on age of child

I think Art Attack doe a version aimed at children. There is certainly animation software about that is aimed at children, also some to download free of charge too.

Very simple one to download here - you have a stick man to animate. Basically start with stick man, click next frame, move the man, click next frame, keep changing/new frame, and then play and see it move.

Hulababy · 04/12/2007 11:37

Was just about to link to that for you.

thanks - Hula, The free one looks good but i won't show it to her yet!
I may use it at school tho' if they allow access to that site.

DS is 7 in Feb and I think he'll love it and if your DD likes it could you see if you think a 7 year old would be able to
