Laser Tag

Hi, my son is 5 (6 in early January) and his absolute favourite thing at school is PE because they play Laser Tag. He has asked for ‘laser tag’ for Christmas so that he can play it at home in the garden. Does anyone have any recommendations? I have looked at actually booking a laser tag trip for him, but the one I’ve found near us (Nottingham) is for ages 8+. Ideally I’d like to give him a laser tag party got his 6th birthday. Any recommendations for a laser tag set would be much appreciated. Thank you.

We got a 4 player set from Amazon a couple of years ago, Laser X brand. Sorry I can’t do Amazon links for some reason! Anyway I think we paid @£50/£60 and it’s still going strong.

There is quite a lot of choice on Amazon and a very wide price range!

We have these (about 3 years now) and they’ve last well kids love them! laser x

We bought my SS a set of nerf guns that were like laser tag but you don't wear a vest, the gun picks up how many 'lives' you have left.

Thanks both. There seems to be ones with and without vests. Apparently the ones he uses at school don’t have vests. I’m not really sure how they work!

If you're looking for birthday ideas and happen to be near Yorkshire, there's a place we've booked for this year for DS8's birthday and they do mini tag specifically aimed at 6-8 year olds so they use smaller guns and softer bullets.
