Spectacular Christmas bauble for wedding present

A friend of mine collects Christmas baubles in every country she visits.

She is getting married soon. I would love to buy a really special Christmas bauble for the wedding present. I am prepared to throw money at it. I know Etsy/Not on the High Street do 'personalised' ones but all the ones I can find are very basic.

Where I can source a really beautiful individual bauble? Doesn't have to be personalised.

I have a really beautiful handmade one that a family member gave us, but she is far too busy at the moment to ask her to make another for a friend, but it certainly sets a high bar.

My Mum collects the Swarovski ones ( they do a special edition each year) and they are absolutely gorgeous on the tree as they reflect the fairy lights so beautifully. It is also a very handy Christmas gift as she is very fussy.

Georg Jensen is the go to danish designer. Does it have to be a bauble? Because every year they release new decorations to hang on the tree, some have the year on them which would be good I think - remind them of their first married xmas.

Or the georg jensen star for the top of the tree. Standard wedding gift.

Could you contact glass blowers, maybe they could do a bride and groom inside a glass bauble. The find someone that could inscribe it

Isle of Wight glass is lovely and collectible. As they blow/produce them (we visited the studio years ago and watched them create pieces), maybe they’d do a commission piece if their standard range isn’t spectacular enough.

Sorry I can't help with bauble suggestions but what a fabulous gift idea for a special occasion at that time of year. Would make a great Christening present too.

Fabulous! I was coming on to say the Bath Glass shop have beautiful ones that could be themed to the wedding colour, or a local glass workshop if you have one.

Echo a local (or not so local) glass blowing workshop, our local one does some beautiful baubles, I could spend ages just looking at them ❤️
