Has anybody been to Thursford?

Tickets for Thursford's Santa's Magical Journey into Christmas are released this morning. Can anyone tell me if it is worth a visit? It is nearly a 2 hour drive from us but it does look pretty magical.

Yes we went in 2018 and it was absolutely worth it
The most festive experience I’ve ever been to.
Decent parking, well organised too

We’ve tried to go back but it wasn’t on last year and this year we aren’t close enough to go

Yes it’s definitely worth doing once - it will certainly be the most Christmassy thing you’ve ever experienced! Go with an open mind though, the show is slightly dated especially the comedy. Bit that does make you feel somewhat nostalgic too. The whole event is very spectacular as the title says and the decorations are breathtaking. If you have small children and Santa’s magical journey is open this year that is highly recommended too.

We went and enjoyed it but I wouldn’t do it again. My then 2 year old thought the walk around characters were real so that was quite magical and this year they have the lights which they didn’t have when we went.
