Option A - run up to Christmas, around the 21st December

Option B - Between Christmas and New Year, around 30th December

B! Broke up the lull and gave us something to look forward to.

B, just because we love the build up and normally see family between.

Run up to Christmas is when we go usually second week in December, we did go after once it felt a bit meh!

B, there's so many other things going on in the run-up to Christmas. For us avoiding the night of the darts final on TV!

A- it was always part of the excitement in the run up to Christmas for me!

Definitely the run up to Christmas. We always went Christmas Eve. Now DS is older we've swapped the tradition to the cinema instead

I love to go to the Panto in the week before Christmas. This year we booked for the 20th. I like to do something outdoors after Christmas as we've been sat around eating too much and festering in the house so usually book a light trail or something after Christmas.

A, always go on Christmas Eve

B, we go on Boxing Day, out for lunch then Panto.

I have booked B to give us something to Do between Christmas and New year that didn't involve endless family visits.

B definitely, something to look forward to and adds a bit of excitement back!

We used to go about 29th-22nd . A local one ( within half our drive )

Once when my DS was 4 we went ( DD was too little) on the night he finished nursery , he fell asleep in the car then straight to bed .......and woke to find my parents had travelled down overnight for Christmas . He was so happy

When DD was old enough she sat openmouthed at KingRat ....and fell asleep ten minutes before the end

Our local panto is mid January. Something to look forward to after Xmas!

Last year we did NYD with some friends and it was great. None of us had been partying and I find it a really blah day so it made it more fun.
